I show my personal election preferences because friends and neighbors ask what they are. Each voter should make her/his own decisions. My preferences should be another piece of research in your decision making. Do your research.
- The ballot is long. You should vote on each candidate and proposition
- You may take notes on paper with you; no cell phone notes.
- Vote by clicking the oval next to your choice.
- Remember that some races are based on where you live.

At-Large Position 8                              Amy Moore

Proposition A                                       Against

I am a product of AISD. However, in good faith I cannot support this Proposition to give the State twice as much of my tax dollars through recapture. The ballot would raise $171 million dollars. AISD would receive $41 million.  Instead the State Mandates which were passed, like a police officer on every campus, and providing safety measures at each facility, the State should returned recapture funds to cover the costs. Under Proposition A once again the State will get funds to do with as they will, instead of returning a large % of the funds to cover the costs of increasing teacher pay, worker's pay and the other things that are needed in AISD not Charter Schools or Home Schools.
